King flat praised Robinson at his memoir.
"Apparently indefatigable, she, maybe more than any other person, was energetic at each flat of the protest," he wrote, according to the King association at Stanford University.
Robinson was the first person at her family to graduate from college and became a teacher at Montgomery, Alabama. There, Robinson was degraded by a car driver though sitting at the bus's "whites only" section, according to the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
When Robinson afterward became principal of the Women's Political conference at Montgomery, she made it a priority to desegregate the city's buses. She became a key player after the scenes of the Montgomery car boycott and was arrested and faced acts of violence and intimidation.

"She is hugely important and hugely misunderstood," said Jeanne Theoharis, distinguished professor of political science at Brooklyn college of CUNY. "Her lie at the Montgomery car came out of her shortage resistance."
Parks was a lifelong activist who served though secretary and youth main of her local limb of the National club though the Advancement of Colored People, according to the The Rosa and Raymond Parks association though Self Development, which she co-founded at the 1980s to assist young people.
Years ago the car boycott, Parks helped work at behalf of Recy Taylor, a young ambiguous mother and sharecropper who was abducted and orchestra raped at Alabama by six white men.
"She investigated sexual violence against ambiguous women, was thinking of the ways ambiguous women were ignored by integrity system and she organized other ambiguous women," Chatelain said of Parks. "Her activism ago the car boycott was strong."
Parks "created a platform that King could bring on," according to Chatelain.
